Foggy Fall Engagement Session

For those of you who don’t know, Dalton is my little brother! Dalton and Sam have been engaged for a few years and have been my models in many photo shoots. I don’t even have to tell Sam what to do when I ask her to pose for me anymore. However, they wanted this session to be different. This wasn’t just another shoot, it was their actual engagement session with me!

I gave them the full treatment including my silly prompts and bluetooth speaker following us around. Although I don’t think any other client would make fun of me so much for my camera backpack or music choices as Dalton did…

Dalton and I have always been close but went through the years of sibling fights and abuse like everyone. As we’ve gotten older I really do count him as one of my best friends! I feel like we can tell each other anything and he’s always been protective of me even though he’s younger. I’ve been protective of him as well and I’m so happy that he has Sam in his life and will be able to call her my sister-in-law one day, even though I already feel like she is! It’s a special feeling to be able to look forward to game nights, vacations, and hangouts together as a family where everyone genuinely enjoys each others company, and I’d say Dalton and I both got pretty great people who fit right in. Family is where it’s at people.
